Other books by Sue Worth
The Cows Who Played Bingo ISBN 978-0-9551633-4-0, £7.99, is available from Waterstones, Dorchester, and Winstone's, Sherborne.
The Cows Who Played Bingo is a selection of Sue's writing, drawn, in the main, from rural Dorset. It includes the re-telling of traditional stories from Stratton, such as ‘The Drowners in the Water Meadow’, and poems published in The Countryman, broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and Radio Solent, read by The Orchard Theatre Company, and performed by The New Hardy Players and others. You can listen to one of the poems from the book, 'Arringe Juice an Moosli', read by Brian Caddy, here.
“Sue Worth’s ‘Dorset Ophelier’ is a wonderfully imagined exercise in how Dorset country women would have reacted to Ophelia. Fab!” - Jane McKell, Artistic Director, AsOne Theatre Company.
